You only match when both people indicate interest. One-sided likes stay private — the other person never sees them. When both sides tap "I remember them," Encore opens a chat between you.

Encore will be free to join. We'll introduce a paid tier later for people who want richer features, but the core matching experience will always be free.

Check-ins are rate-limited and confidence-scored against the device's actual location, so people can't claim to be where they weren't. Blocking is mutual. Reporting is built in. We'll be hands-on through the early period — Encore is small enough that we read every report.
